VACATION TIME

7 days down and 3 days to go. Yep, I have been on vacation this last week and did virtually nothing but clear my mind of work. That took 5 days to do because I was getting calls from work to solve problems. Finally I said enough. I Ignored the rest of the calls, I felt obligated to answer and it was very hard to say,"I am on vacation, do not answer the phone, leave me alone". Finally with that concept ringing in my mind, I go to the store for goodies and real food and guess who I run into on aisle 3, MY BOSS, dangit, he asks if I am enjoying my time off and of course, I say YES. He then says, oh by the way, you know that $8000.00 charge for tree removal, what did we remove for all that? I said for him to review the original P.O. and that would answer his question. I made an excuse and got out of the store. Dangit, got caught again- Now 3 days left and I hope no more calls. Saturday night and time for the Collage football games, burgers and no phone calls. I have really had a great time doing nothing of importance. I went to bed rather late (midnight) and slept in until 8am. that sure felt good, I could get used to that. We went to the Indian gaming facilities and had a great time on one of the days, we visited with kids, swam and enjoyed life on other days. Sometimes you just have to do nothing of importance to enjoy a vacation. I sure enjoyed mine.
